The machine over-current protection contactor triped and system was automatic power off when open the machine and pressed positioning lamp or exposure preparation in use.

Failure analysis and maintenance:

AMX-4+ system is consist of power box, charging control, CPU board, high voltage generator, motor control and remote control receiving. Every model is controled and detected by CPU. Then check attached machine circuit diagram and consider that positioning lamp(AC 24V, 150W) and exposure preparation(Rotating anode start ) are provided power by T1 transformer, it is controled by 46-232786G2.

The next step you could take down the board and measure, you would find that F93, which had insurance tube, is burned off and effective tube was breakdown. After replacing the same model tube, connect power and open the machine, fault remains. Then you would doubt CPU control singal abnormal and increase the load spurious. It leads to excessive current and power tube punctured. The following you could use digital multimeter to measure and 60Hz control singal is normal.

Replace the tube again and then connect power, the two test points are 5V and 6V. This two points are not balance. After power off, take down promote tube Q61, there is leakage phenomenon. After replacing the same model tube, connect power and measure two points are 6.0V. After opening the machine and self-inspection, fault is solved and x-ray machine can work normally.
